BRITISH TELEMARK TEAM SELECTION

25 May to 1 June -  Stubaier Glacier, Austria 

Selection for the British Telemark Team for 2008-2009 Season will take place in Austria between 25 May and 1 June.  Email the Team Captain at telemarkclarke@btinternet.com for applications.

This will be the only chance to be selected for the British Telemark Team - NO OTHER SELECTION IS SCHEDULED FOR THE 2008/9 SEASON.

CLOSING DATE FOR APPLICATIONS - 21 APRIL 2008 

If you are a self-motivated, disciplined and dedicated telemarker, are willing to sacrifice the occasional weekend for training and the odd week for hill and condition training at locations across the globe and  you maintain a high level of personal fitness then I want to hear from you.  By necessity, as telemark is a 'start-up' sport in the UK, you will need to be self-funding - so having the nouse to drum up your own sponsorship in addition to team sponsorship is a must and information and advice on how to go about this is available.

The time to get involved in the growing sport of Telemark is right now - not least because it is a huge chance to represent your country.  Telemark's visibility is increasing across the world and the hope is that it will gain Olympic Status very soon.  Be part of the team from the early days and be part of something great, exhilarating and rewarding.
